Waxed Cassava

Cassava's roots are extremely perishable, and if purchased fresh can last less than 48 hours after harvesting. We can extend the shelf life to two months by coating it with paraffin wax. After we harvest the roots, we dry clean them and coat them with a layer of paraffin or wax, which forms a protective barrier that prevents water loss or oxidation.

Peeled Cassava

Peeling it means we can store the cassava's root for longer periods of time, offering more utility per pound purchased for food processors. We wash and peel the root and pack it into 5-gallon or 55-gallon barrels with chlorinated water. We also offer it packed in plastic bags or vacuum packed. We clean, peel and store the roots according to Panamanian standards and the Codex Alimentarius, ensuring the highest quality for consumers.

All of our processing is carried out on our hybridized production model, taking advantage of infrastructure that is also used to produce other food products. This allows us to maintain low costs and provide high value and quality products for our customers. We do business both locally and internationally. We offer several special varieties upon request.
